I just came back from Dallas, Texas to photograph a wedding.

If I could describe Texas in 3 words:

Awesome

Hot

Food

If you say those 3 words fast, you may get the impression that I ate a lot of food. That is also true.

Here is the extremly rad couple. They have the biggest hearts imaginable. I’m not sure if its because of what they say about Texas or if its just their desire for one another. Either way, I dig it.

Mary and Shaun – Paso Robles Engagement

I had such a great time hanging out with this couple. I love it when I don’t have to pose anyone. I think its really important to capture who they are and the love they show towards each other. Its so natural and real that way. I have known Mary since high school, which seems so long ago…. not

We shot their engagement session in Paso Robles; even though it gets hot, it is a cozy little town. If you ever are up there, take the hwy 46 west towards the coast. It is one of the most beautiful drives, full of green mountains and wine vineyards.

They are getting married in October. I can’t wait for the wedding- besides capturing some epic photos, I’m hoping to also document some Sierra Nevada and some Purple Paradise.

Sarah and Raider – San Luis Obispo Engagement

These guys have great style and a lot of love. Sarah and Raider came down from Portland, Oregon to visit family and meet up with me downtown San Luis Obispo to take some rad engagement photos. We literally met and started shooting within the next minute. You definitely get to know people real quick this way! I had a great time hanging out with you two, thank you for choosing me to document your wedding, I can’t wait!

Justin + Ronda – San Luis Obispo Engagement

This is my brother Justin. My brothers are pretty much the closest friends I am blessed to have. I spend most of my time with them; whether we are making fun of each other or laughing beyond control, we have a lot of fun together. He is finally growing up and leaving the nest, haha….I love you big guy

Life is full of second chances if you have enough hope, heart and plenty of hard work. Believing you can become something better is really important. Justin has always been my brother, but he has had a long history of drug abuse as long as I could remember. He has now been clean and drug free for a little over 2 years now. A real success story to anyone looking for hope in life. Justin went through a complete transformation from living on the streets and being strung out in the dunes to who he is today; a father to an amazing little boy, a brother, and soon to be husband. He is full of love, crazy amounts of humor and can light up a room in an instant. He is the guy that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Which is why I am not surprised why Ronda loves him. They are getting married in June, congratulations you guys!

Jeremy + Lacey – Huasna Engagement

I shot this engagement session on Lacey’s family property out in Huasna- its a cozy little drive outside of Arroyo Grande, Ca. We had a lot of fun exploring the property and hanging out. I shot their wedding at the Victorian Pitkin Conrow Estate in Arroyo Grande, Ca and will be posting that soon as well.
